Work outs refresh us and tire us at the same time. One might feel all relaxed post work out, but it is mandatory that they consume the correct food items to keep up the effectiveness of all the hard work.

1.Roast some Chicken

Grill this lean meat for a easy snack. It is a source of proteins and provide you the required Vitamin B. Throw in some veggies and make a grilled chicken salad. We bet you can’t resist this!

2.How about some Bananas

In case the workout session was too intense, and there are chances of muscle damage, bananas will be the go-to snack. Full of carbohydrates, they help in restoration of Glycogen, which cures the muscles. Bananas are filling as well!

3.Bring in the Kiwi

Kiwi is a fun fruit and a great post workout snack as well! It heals the sore muscles, provides body the required comfort. It works wonders on damaged tissues.

4.Eggs to the rescue

The recovery process is quicken, when eggs are on the go! An egg or two, preferably boiled, will provide instant energy. It is a source of protein and boiled eggs with chopped onions and coriander leaves and some spices, will taste like heaven, to be honest!

5.Sweet Potatoes make a sweet snack

Boil them or microwave them, this great snack will fulfil not only the hunger, but also the complex carbohydrate requirements of the body. Work out first and snack on sweet potatoes later!

6.Water

Water is the elixir of life, but that sounds too dramatic. However, we advice you to keep hydrated always. And a good amount of water after workout sessions, not only cools down the body but also compensates for all the lost fluid.
